What is Plasticizer
Plasticizer- यह वो रासायनिक पदार्थ है जो कोटिंग या फ़िल्म में लचीलापन प्रदान करता है।उसे प्लास्टिसाइजर कहते है।
प्लास्टिसाइजर का इस्तेमाल उस पेंट में करते है जो प्लास्टिक या लोचदार वाली सब्सट्रेट हो ,उस पर हम प्लास्टिसाइजर से बने पेंट का इस्तेमाल करते है।
यह दो प्रकार के होते है।
1- प्राइमरी प्लास्टिसाइजर
2- सेकंडरी प्लास्टिसाइजर
Primary Plasticizer- ये वो प्लास्टिसाइजर है ,जो पेंट के मिक्सचर में उपस्थित रहते है। अर्थात अलग से ऐड करने की आवश्यकता नही होती है। उसे प्राइमरी प्लास्टिसाइजर कहते है।
जैसे- Alkyd Resin और Epoxy Resin से बने पेंट में प्लास्टिसाइजर की आवश्यकता नही होती है।
Secondary Plasticizer- ये वो प्लास्टिसाइजर है,जो पेंट बनाते समय अलग से ऐड किये जाते है, उसे Secondary Plasticizer कहते है।
जैसे- Castor Oil, Linseed Oil, short oil alkyd, डाई ब्यूटाइल etc.
Properties of Plasticizer- 1- यह उच्च ताप पर उबलते है, लेकिन यह साल्वेंट के evaporate नही होते है।
2-यह गंधहीन होते है।
3- यह हल्के रंग के होते है।
